Little Darlings Educare Centre
We provide QUALITY experiences
To help foster a CHILD’S ongoing
Learning and DEVELOPMENT
WELCOME
Little Darling Educare is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school designed to inspire students to achieve their maximum potential in a nurturing, progressive academic environment from grade 000 –grade 3.
In order to achieve this, we provide a stimulating and supportive environment to enhance the learning experience. We nurture each learner thus enabling them to achieve their personal best in all endeavours.
We are committed to assisting all learners to achieve the outcomes of the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) and move beyond them wherever possible. In addition, we offer a wide spectrum of extra-curricular activities and events that compliments LDEC‘s learning programme. This is to inspire each learner to explore, question and develop skills for life.
Every learner is encouraged to strive for excellence by developing their own strengths and unique talents, giving them the confidence to take on new challenges and achieve their full potential.
The Principal Address
Research has proven that the first 7 years of a child’s life is a significant period during which he/she develops approximately a third of his/her total adult intelligence as well as the basis of his/her personality and emotional/social disposition. Hence, we at Little Darling Educare Centre focus on the development of the child holistically – intellectual, social, moral, emotional, spiritual and physical. We provide learning by enthusiastic, caring and dedicated teachers in a creative, disciplined and nurturing environment.
We are confident that our focus on individual needs and abilities are achieved through maintaining strong partnerships with parents and the wider community to provide a comprehensive approach to challenging our students to achieve their best and build self-confidence in their personal abilities. This approach of building the foundations of academic and social capabilities of our students reflects our school’s ethos.
The staff at LDEC work together to ensure every child has a positive, happy and rewarding school experience. Parents and teachers are true partners in the learning process; ensuring students are encouraged to participate, to strive to achieve their best, to be considerate and supportive of others, and to value the pursuit of knowledge and respect.
